Getting Our Cranes in a Row...

Lots of clazy things have happened since our first post! Almost everyone has moved in to the big E (so named for the large E that is now hanging on the wall) and the past two days have been full of sewing, decorating, and preparing Jared for his Beta fight*. Mark your calendars, the fight will take place on the next full moon. For those of you that don't keep up with lunar cycles, that's August 13th. Below are some pictures of our progress, feel free to come by and check it out for yourself!

The first glimpse of apartment 5. Fully functioning dryer chairs courtesy of the local thrift store. We plan to use them in the winter in order to get the most out of our porch.

Many people have tried to guess the symbolism of the E, but there is only one true story behind it, and it is best told in person. This hangs right behind the door.

The living room from the kitchen.

The cranes.

The goodwill couch with the pillows that we slaved over. Please praise them.

The kitchen.

The chalkboard. This is on the door across from the kitchen. It is extremely useful for writing secret messages in Chinese.

The least amount of dishes there will ever be on the drying mat!

That is all. Check back later for more!
